Experience with sholawat friends

 

Hi, this time I want to share a story about my friend during sholawat practice. The three of us are the same age. Both study at UIN Tulungagung. Her names are tyas and sofi. Sofi and I are majoring in TBI, while Tyas is majoring in accounting at the Faculty of Economics and Business. At the beginning of semester 1 we received an invitation from the youth of the mosque. Yes, the three of us are in one RT. At first I had no talent or interest in playing sholawat music. But because of the demands from my mother and friends who invited me, I finally wanted to learn and get to know the kinds of musical instruments that were played during sholawat. Every Saturday and Sunday we were told to study and practice memorizing the tempo to the beat of the musical instrument. When there was the first invitation for the birthday of the prophet in 2020, the three of us who were on stage for the first time and faced many people were very nervous and sometimes made mistakes. Oh yeah why are only three of you the same age in one prayer group?. The three of us are just representatives of the mosque to help mothers. The existing sholawat had actually been going on with several teams from women, because some teams had withdrawn, we were finally drawn to participate in representing the mosque in our RT. As for last year and the current year, many invitations were addressed. In various contexts such as weddings, the birthday of the prophet, and the Islamic new year. Not only sholawat groups in our mosque but from several other mosques in the same village, the total is about 15-16 groups. I am very happy to know all three of them. They are very enthusiastic, and enthusiastic in practicing. The three of us are always committed and encourage each other. Oh yes, the three of us were not appointed to sing, but to hold the musical instruments. Every time we get an invitation, we practice and sometimes teach mothers who can't, and that's really amazing for us. An experience that intercedes for each of us too. Very happy to know the three of them. They are cool friends and frequency. Not infrequently we also discuss the problems of college life, ranging from assignments, lecturers, and the difficulties that each of us experiences. Thanks to my friends, because with this experience we can get to know each other and share opinions with each other.
